So I am not to be the one to “SPREAD RUMORS”, however a inside source has recently let me in on some big news. As many of us know and have seen Chris Fonseca’s old Fixie classic “REVOKED” movie which was one of the first “FIXED FREESTYLE” riding videos back in the day should be really stoked on the news I am about to drop. Now about six months ago Chris Fonseca dropped what was supposed to be his “LAST” fixed gear bike video showcasing Jakob Santos, Josh Boothby, and Torey Thornton. Well check this out …… IT IS NOT GOING TO BE HIS LAST VIDEO !! In fact he is actually working on what was said to me as being a new “fixed gear movie.” So like I said, “this is a rumor”, however it is from a very credible source. Either way I am super pumped to see what happens. I posted up Fonseca’s last edit as well as the full length REVOKED movie below for you all to enjoy.

This was a fun filled night where friends, fellow riders, and fans got together in Huntington Beach, Ca. to celebrate the making of this video by Zane Meyer. Here is something that nobody saw coming. Joe McKeag is now riding for LDG. Not only is Joe riding for LDG now, but he is now riding 26′s !!!! Now that is a SHOCKER !!! Joe built up his brand new LDG HAMMER Frame laced to some PROTOTYPE 26″ RESIST Wheels !!! These are the only sample pair in existence so I would not count on seeing these in any stores soon. So bottom line is we have lots of big news going down in this video so stay tuned for some sick edits from the LDG squad because now with Joe on the Team I would have to say between him, CONGO, and Jakob Santos these guys are probably one of the most solid teams out there. So this is the second week in a row I got to go out filming with the LDG Fixed Freestyle team but this week we brought Joe McKeag along for the fun. This video is also the first time Jakob Santos rides 26′s !! Yes I said it ! … JAKOB SANTOS on 26′s !! He still has his 700c around so don not think for one moment that he has completely switched over. I am sure it is going to be much easier for Jakob to throw around his 26 inch build so I would expect to see him riding that over his 700c in the future but in the mean time just sit back and admire how this guy kills no matter what he rides. I swear as long as it has wheels this guy will kill it no matter what he is on. Congo also throws together some sick lines as usual. It was a fun day riding out in HB although we never got a chance to ride the HURLEY Skate Park we made the best of things by finding a few local spots to hit up. We should be out filming again tomorrow as long as it does not rain but either way stay tuned for more weekly videos from the LDG camp and Mashafix.com. #HUYAFIXTHIE

A Few At Fairmont by FOAD

If you have not checked out there WEBSITE I suggest you do so and peep the adventures these guys from Salt Lake City are throwing down on a regular basis. Always some good entertainment from THE FOADfixed CREW. ALWAYS SICK ! Glad to see Evan get that 360 at then end but the falls were always fun to watch. PUTTING IN WURK SON ! hahahaha !

Mashafix.com presents – LDG at Hurley Skate Park

This video is the first of many to come from the LDG camp so stay tuned to www.mashafix.com weekly videos. At first when I arrived at the Hurley head quartes in Costa Mesa, Ca. I was in awe to see such a sick indoor skate park that professional riders and staff members at Hurley get to use on a daily basis. Although the park is not necessarily large in size; it has some sick stuff for these guys to hit up. I think one of the highlights of the day for me was to see CONGO skate !!! I mean we already knew he rips it up riding FIXED FREESTYLE but shit ! This guy can skate too and he is not bad either ! hahaha ! So enjoy this HURLEY Skate Park session with Jakob and CONGO I promise you will enjoy every second of it.

Royal HC – Sunday Sesh – 1/22/12

The ROYAL HC SUNDAY SESH RIDE has been going strong for the last month now with riders coming from OC to LA to join in on this fun ride threw the streets of Long Beach. This ride meets up at CITY GROUNDS at about 11 and leaves at noon every other Sunday. Paul from ROYAL HC who is also the organizer of this ride made this cool video showing us some of the fun they had on their last ride. I was only able to hang out with the group that day for a short time because I was on my to the Home Depot ADT Velodrome for the USA vs. Canada meet they were having that same day. Paul did a great job getting this group together and capturing some great moments along the way. What was really awesome about this Sunday Sesh Ride was that Paul had reached out to all the riders via facebook telling everyone that he would be filming the riders that day and would be giving a special prize to the rider who in his opinion riding that day stands out from all the other riders in what he like to call his “Rider of the Week”. Now the rider of the week turned out to be none other than Mr. Johnathan Ball and I would like to also give him some PROPS for his riding that day. Below is a gif I mad for JBall with a few screen shots of a sick tuck no hander he threw over at the new skate park by Poly High. This is awesome that Paul is getting these kids together and making good use of a Sunday afternoon. “these kids are the next pros” -Paul from ROYAL HC is what he had said to me on the first Sunday Sesh ride and that stuck with me. Paul is all about the kids and this really shows that. NICE JOB PAUL !!!
