This latest collaboration between THE HUNDREDS and STATE BICYCLE CO. is now available at the STATE BICYCLE CO. WEBSITE only for a LIMITED TIME. They even have a new T-SHIRT design to go along with the new bike. I have always been a fan of the THE HUNDREDS clothing line and I am stoked to see them do a collab with a company like STATE. I definitely need to get my hands on one of these NEW BIKES !

Now this story right here really means a whole lot me. As we all know last Friday there was a terrible accident at the Los Angeles Critical Mass bike ride that took the life of 18 year old Jerico Vivar Colata. It was said that he died after crashing into a concrete wall near the UCLA campus. Apparently he lost control of his bike during a left turn which caused him to crash which ultimately took his life. Young Jerico was not wearing a helmet which more than likely would have saved his life in this crash. Since Friday I have thought about this tragedy many times and I have been encouraging many young riders to start wearing a helmet.

Right now I am calling out to every cyclist in help to get back Jerico’s bike back. It really sickens me to think that some asshole out there would actually steal this kids bike ! I mean who really has the nerve to steal a bike at the scene where this kid just lost his life !!! THIS IS BULLSHIT ! I personally will reward anyone who can help get this bike back for his family in time for his funeral. I can not begin to tell all of you out there how much this really pisses me off. Whoever you are who took Jerico’s bike just know this, YOU ARE THE NASTIEST SCUM THAT ANYONE WILL EVER FIND ON THIS PLANET AND I REALLY HOPE KARMA TAKES ITS TURN ON YOU ! I EVEN HOPE YOU DIE RIDING THIS KIDS BIKE BECAUSE NOBODY DESERVES TO RIDE THAT BIKE EXCEPT JERICO ! I did not know Jerico personally but I for sure will be on the look out for his bike. HURLEY x LDG AERO by josh harris

Custom paint artist JOSH HARRIS was asked by Hurley to do a custom paint job to match their new board shorts they launched for this years US Open of surfing. Josh was also the same person who painted my bike as well. He does in credible work and time after time I stand back amazed at what he produces. The colors and gradients are absolutely insane on this custom LDG AERO FRAME. If you are looking for someone who does good work I would suggest hitting him up. I know this is huge because with this done I believe UNKNOWN can pretty much offer a complete bike set up. I fthat happens it would probably be the most solid complete out there.

1973 PEUGEOT px10 – ß¡I<∑ Pø®π

Now here is a classic 1973 Peugeot px10 that I came across while visiting one of the most unique BICYCLE SHOPS in my hometown of Long Beach, Ca. THE BICYCLE STAND is ran by Nicole Maltz and Evan Whitner who is a friend of mine and is a dedicated bicycle mechanic with a love for vintage bikes. He takes pride in his work and it shows when you walk threw the door of the shop and see all of the restored bicycles hanging on the walls. I know many of us that ride bicycles have no clue about the history behind some of the classic bikes we ride. I know for a fact I am still learning and I figured while I am learning more and more about the sport that I love that I may be able to share my learning experience with all of you out there in the world. With this posts starts something special and to me there is nowhere better to start this off than at THE BICYCLE STAND. Evan had suggested starting off with this Peugeot px10 that he has FOR SALE because of the history behind it. He had told me that EDDY MERCKX had started his professional cycling career on a px10 back in 1967. MERCKX only road a Peugeot for the first 2 years as a professional before switching sponsors. The px10 back in its day was one of the best road bikes around. This one is not a 1967 however for it being almost 40 years old and after a little work from EVAN the bike looks better than some new bikes I see people ride around today.

The Pipe-Bomb is a triple triangle pursuit style bike that was designed for aggressive street and track riding. With a 650/26″ wheel in the front it steeps the geometry to that of the St. Fighter but slackens up just a bit with a 700c in it for stable all around riding and racing.
