I recently met the owner/founder of Road Runner Bags and he asked me to come check out some of his products and watch how he makes each of them. I just had to go check this interesting process out first hand and take some video clips while he sat down and made one of his Road Runner hip pouches. I really like the overall quality of his products but there are some key features to his hip pouch I especially liked in comparison to other hip pouches I have used in the past. There was three key features that stood out to me. One was the key chain built into the pouch flap. This way I have a place to hook my keys besides my belt loop and because it is approx 4 inches higher then the belt loop on my pants it kept my keys from banging on the side of my bike while riding. Second was the U-Lock compartment actually fit my U-Lock comfortably while still having easy access to the pouch contents while on the go. Third I really like how he has integrated the Road Runner label on the pouch flap as a hook to attach any rear light making it very visible to motorists at night. I really like to support grass roots companies that have good quality product.
