So while I was filming at “GHETTO SKATE PARK” in downtown Long Beach, CA. I got to thinking about this video from TOM DUGAN posted via THECOMEUPBMX.net of him doing the tree gap back in the day in his ODDYSSEY BMX Socal Edit from 2010. I could not quite remember it at first but good Ol’ CONGO was there to remind me of this sick video. Between the gap at Houghton and the one he does at the end at Ghetto Park; I swear this guy is insane and him doing the gap at Ghetto Park was probably one of all time favorite tricks I have ever seen on a BMX ! I hope one day someone tries this on a fixed freestyle bike …. hopefully one day !

Here is a couple shots I took with professional fixed freestyle riders JOE MCKEAG and JUSTIN “CONGO” MITCHELL at one of Long Beach most popular skate parks downtown. These two really throw down some big airs anytime I bust out the camera. I can not wait to get some more clips with these two. Stay posted for more to come.

So yesterday was just straight up awesome !!!! I got to start the day by driving out to LAX airport with professional fixed freestyle rider JOE MCKEAG to pick up TYLER JOHNSON. From the airport we drove to one of my favorite local bike shops CITY GROUNDS to assemble TYLER’S bike. Once we finished up there it was off too “GHETTO SKATE PARK” to meet up with some of the local fixie factory riders ANTONYO WOTHE and CONGO for a quick session. I was able to take some video and pictures yesterday and these 3 shots of TYLER came out so sick !!! I also have a few sequence shots that I will be posting up later as well so stay posted for that as well. I swear TYLER almost makes gravity look non existent when he launches threw the air. This guy is so much fun to film with I just can not wait to get some more clips in with him while he is down here visiting Long Beach.
