Now this video was posted after a an accident on the track left on rider sidelined with an injury. Now there is a few different ways to look at this video and interpret what had happened but after closely watching this and talking to both riders I can say this. Both of these riders were cool before this accident and there is no reason why Edgar would cause Alonso to crash purposely. I personally have been on a ride with both of these guys prior to this so I know this. Second I would like to say that this was Edgar’s first time riding on the velodrome since getting certified so when he hit that bank on the final turn you can see as he accelerates he can not help but pull straight left and this causes him to crash into Alonso. It was in noway intentional but just a beginner mistake and I know Edgar is very sorry for this and has began training himself to become a better racer. Since this accident he has apologized and I think that is the right thing to do. Let’s face it when you go out to a velodrome and ride on a track full of amateur and beginner riders that in some cases do not even need to be certified to ride on the track which is also a danger in its self there is a high risk of a accident happening. When racing in any sport there is going to be accidents so lets all keep that in mind and also try and think that no body no matter who it is goes out to race and cause a accident or even be in one themselves.
Here are some great photos that was sent over to me by Ramon Antonio III. This day was full of some great moments and he definitely captured a lot of them. I can not wait until more photos surface of the event because I have mostly video Check out Ramon’s FLICKR HERE.

So this past Saturday was a blast !! I had so much fun out there with everybody that came out to the event. I remember showing up to the Staples Center to see hundreds of riders having fun and ready for a fun filled day of riding. I will be making a video of this event so be prepared for that. I want to thank all my cameramen that came out to help film this event because without all of your help I would not have been able to do this to the scale I wanted to. I want to encourage anyone who was at this event to email me their photos and or video clips to email@example.com along with their information so I may credit you for your work if it is used. I also want to thank all of the Sponsors that helped make this day happen. My intent was to make this day dedicated to all the kids out there that support Mashafix.com and everything I do. Without all of you out there showing your support for the blog this past year I do not think I could have kept it going so I thank all of my fans out there. I plan on throwing more and more events so be prepared for that because it is all about giving back to the cycling community in which I love so much. So stay tuned to Mashafix.com for more updates and photos ! #YOUKNOWWAZGOOD
Custom paint artist JOSH HARRIS was asked by Hurley to do a custom paint job to match their new board shorts they launched for this years US Open of surfing. Josh was also the same person who painted my bike as well. He does in credible work and time after time I stand back amazed at what he produces. The colors and gradients are absolutely insane on this custom LDG AERO FRAME. If you are looking for someone who does good work I would suggest hitting him up. If you are one of my followers on instagram then you have already seen the picture I posted up from a photo shoot with THEFIXFIXFIX with my bike that was painted by Josh. Be sure to check that out.

Here is yet another video CHROME show casing their new Fixed Freestyle Bag line and Forest Parker certainly is one of the best riders to show it off. I think the ledges at this spot are one of the most epic film spots ever for FGFS. Colby Elrick kills with the camera work as usual with a finishing touch from Corbin Dahl. These two are quite the film and editing team. Be sure to check out the CHROME DISTRICT BAG and much more on their WEBSITE.
This July edit from 14 year old Tyler Nakamoto is incredible !!!! This kid has progressed so much so fast. He has developed a clean style where you can tell he has full control of his bike at all times. He definitely saved the bangers for the end going from a truck driver, 11 stair bar spin, to a finale of a roof drop bar to flat !! So insane ! I think it’s the coffee I’m drinking or the fact that I am so excited to see more from young Tyler that I am using so many exclamation points!!!!! #YOUKNOWWAZGOOD
Now out of all the bikes I own this has to be one of my all time favorites for sure. Master painter JOSH HARRIS did an amazing paint job on my LDG AERO FRAME. When you hear the term “candy paint”, well here it is ! When the sun hits this paint job it is almost blinding with all metallic red flake in the paint. What really surprised me was the overall weight of this bike. I was expecting it to be a bit heavier because of the paint however it is still easily under 16 pounds. I was able to shave quite a bit of weight by using all carbon fiber components. The LDG FRAMES were specifically designed around the EASTON EC90 products so if you are in the market for one of these FRAMES then I suggest using these parts as well for they are readily available at the LDG storefront in Huntington beach, Ca. I would like to give a special thanks to all the guys at LDG for helping me build this bike up.
