One of my last stops while I was in San Francisco had to be the BOOMBOTIX headquarters. This was my first time going there and was greeted by a team of 7 of the coolest employees ever. On top of that it had to be one of the coolest offices I have ever been too before. Because the headquarters is on a main street they have made it into a walk up store front as well displaying dozens of the most unique and colorful PORTABLE MP3 SPEAKERS I think anyone has ever seen.
Here is the very first peek at the “Mashafix Movie” I have been working on. On December 21, 2012 do not just be prepared for the “end of the world”, but be ready for some of the most intense fixed gear riding you have ever seen from freestyle and track. Stay tuned to MASHAFIX.com for more videos and updates. Thank You
This is the first time I have seen one of these MACAFRAMA TRACK BIKES in person. Warren is rolling hard on this beautiful 61cm build. I am super pumped to see these hit the streets to the public so just wait for that but until then just remember #WEOUTHERE
I have been super stoked with this road trip to the bay so far. Yesterday spent sometime at Lake Merritt with some homies and got some great clips. This weekend is setting up to be intense and I can not wait to get some more footy with some of the best riders in the world. Oakland is definitely one of the most one of a kind places in the world and bikes are a big part of the lifestyle and culture … as well as PBR and blunts hahahah ! #youknowWazgod #weouthere
While I was out last night I got a call from JASON CLARY who was super stoked on the ride he went on this past Tuesday morning that met up early at the MASH SF STORE. Apparently this was one of the most epic adventures in quite some time for this group of riders. It took this group of 8 riders 6 hours of hard riding and they only hit 7 flats while enduring miles of unpaved dirt roads. They burned threw tires and hopped fences in hope to find a journey of a lifetime and they certainly achieved that. There is many more PICS from the MASH SF TUMBLR so be sure to check that out. One remarkable fact behind this story is the images taken by CHAS were from his mobile phone ! So sick !
LDG just posted up some sick photos from the CANT FOOL THE YOUTH fixed freestyle video magazine premiere back on May 26. This weekend marks the 3rd. and final premiere at the iMiNUSD store on the 23rd. I know I will be traveling up north for this one and to film some other projects that I am working on. I hope to see many of you out there this Saturday. #youknowWazgood
Here is a short video recap of the Can’ Fool the Youth Video video magazine premiere at LDG on May 26, 2012. Today marks the second premiere showing at Midwest Mayhem 3. This was a fun filled night where friends, fellow riders, and fans got together in Huntington Beach, Ca. to celebrate the making of this video by Zane Meyer. I know that this will be up for sale soon via chopemdownfilms.com so be on the look out for that.
The year was definitely better than last years RED BULL ride + style. The race course was set up much better in my opinion; last year because of some of the turns on the course you would miss some of the action depending where you were standing. This year they kept everything front and center giving everyone access to get a good view on the action going on. As far as the freestyle course; well I can not say much more than the art work was straight up on point and the layout was set up to accommodate the fixed freestyle riders to put together more creative lines. The format that they had this year was much better letting each rider have time to show off individually compared to 6 man jam sessions like last year. This really opened the course up for these guys by not having to worry about other riders getting in their way. This is the first set of photos I have released from this event and I will be posting the rest later as well.
So I have been sitting on tons of photos from this years RED BULL ride + style and this first set of photos has to be some of my favorite pics so far and I have many more to release still. This had to be one of the most memorable experiences of my life and I have so much more to share so stay posted to MASHAFIX.com #YOUKNOWWAZGOOD
