So if you missed out on yesterdays garage sale at the Fixie Factory in downtown Long Beach, Ca. then you missed out on some great deals and some good times. I stopped by the sale while I was downtown yesterday afternoon and saw bikes piled high on the front porch of the Fixie Factory with kids all over swapping parts and installing new parts and accessories on their bikes. I myself swooped up a new UNKNOWN BIKE CO. hat and some WOLF DRAWN stickers and patches. I hope they have more sales like this because it is great for the community and gives kids a chance to buy parts they could normally not afford when at regular price.
CHROME has been going hard with the video advertisements lately. This new video is more than just a commercial for their SOUTHSIDE SHOE it is some sick riding and a great glimpse of what had taken place at Midwest Mayhem 3. As much as I love Boothby’s backflips I have to say Antonyo “WARHOL” #LOL has one of the most sickest tech games out there. Props to all the riders that competed.
Here is a flashback that deserves a GIF for sure. A few weeks ago I was having a few beers with TTH13TTH and he showed me this old video of MATT SPENCER. That skid at the end was just way too sick. Matt has such a smooth style and can make a SESH out of any spot.
Now I have not done a flashback in a while but how it works is you mute the video and play the music from the ZOMBIE JUICE track below. Jason Clary sent me this song after I got back from my trip to the Bay Area. I have had this song stuck in my head all day and it goes well with that skid Matt does at the end.
LDG just posted up some sick photos from the CANT FOOL THE YOUTH fixed freestyle video magazine premiere back on May 26. This weekend marks the 3rd. and final premiere at the iMiNUSD store on the 23rd. I know I will be traveling up north for this one and to film some other projects that I am working on. I hope to see many of you out there this Saturday. #youknowWazgood
Here is a short video recap of the Can’ Fool the Youth Video video magazine premiere at LDG on May 26, 2012. Today marks the second premiere showing at Midwest Mayhem 3. This was a fun filled night where friends, fellow riders, and fans got together in Huntington Beach, Ca. to celebrate the making of this video by Zane Meyer. I know that this will be up for sale soon via chopemdownfilms.com so be on the look out for that.
Its about that time again and Midwest Mayhem 3 is about to kick off this Saturday June 9, 2012. This years event is shaping up to be even better than last years. With riders making their ways across the states by plane and car you can be sure to see some killer footage from this comp when all is said and done. I was able to snag a few pics off instagram from Gus Molina, Pissy, and Kris Sundet. I think Kris Sundet’s photo of the “monster truck” was epic enough to say this is whats about to go down in the Midwest. Gus has been working hard on making this years shirts for the comp and I was able to snag some photos compliments of TTH13TTH and he also had this sick video showing off the new shirts. Some epic stuff here for sure and I am sad to not have been able to make it out to this years comp. Look forward to updates on this fixed freestyle event about to go down. Not to mention they will showing off two of the sickest videos out SHREDWELL 2 and CAN’T FOOL THE YOUTH !!!!! #youknowWazgood
These shirts will be a only be available at the comp and a very limited supply will be available at the TTH13TTH GIFT STORE.
RED BULL – ride + style 2012
The year was definitely better than last years RED BULL ride + style. The race course was set up much better in my opinion; last year because of some of the turns on the course you would miss some of the action depending where you were standing. This year they kept everything front and center giving everyone access to get a good view on the action going on. As far as the freestyle course; well I can not say much more than the art work was straight up on point and the layout was set up to accommodate the fixed freestyle riders to put together more creative lines. The format that they had this year was much better letting each rider have time to show off individually compared to 6 man jam sessions like last year. This really opened the course up for these guys by not having to worry about other riders getting in their way. This is the first set of photos I have released from this event and I will be posting the rest later as well.

Joe McKeag is seriously one of the best riders in the world and this video shows you exactly why I could say that. He has so much much bike control I want to vomit ! hahahaha ! jk but for real the only thing this kid is missing now is to hit some rails ! I know Joe has it in him and now that he is rocking the 26′s with a negative bottom bracket I am sure will see him throwing some pegs on and showing us how to boss up on some rails. Anyways what more can i say than JOE MCKEAG IS FUCKING AMAZING ! PERIOD.
