As Concept Bikes is still technically a “Concept”, I do know that Jordan has been enjoying his Concept prototype which was HAND MADE IN THE U.S.A. by DESTROY which is a GRASSROOTS company based out of Northern California. Now enough talk about the frame and more talk about Jordan’s riding. If you were to go back and watch each video Jordan has made since he started making videos you will see a huge progression over a short time. So I hope he keeps up the hard work and somehow fixes his sweat problem soon hahahaha jk !
I saw this picture of Jakob Santos new prototype Resist sprocket posted up via WHEEL TALK and had to re post it. I know a lot of companies including Resist have been experimenting with lightweight aluminum sprockets but time after time I have seen these types break and snap which is NO GODD. I like the steel concept especially for its strength and overall durability. This Resist sprocket looks very similar to the prototype EIGHTH INCH prototype sprocket I saw last November at the SF Bike Expo. Be on the look out for constant changes in sprocket design out there.
“I took this picture of Jakob Santos’ prototype Resist sprocket the last day of our trip down south. I’m digging the overall look and design of this new sprocket, finally some originality. It seems like more and more companies are beginning to drop aluminum and build solid 1-piece steel sprockets. As apposed to using high grade aluminum (7075) w/ a steel insert, which can develop play overtime. Steel is real.” -WHEEL TALK FIXED
Yes its true !!! Joe McKeag is now riding on 26′s ! But these are not just any set of 26 inch Fixed Freestyle wheels, these are prototype 26 inch RESIST wheels. There is not to much info on these except these are the only set out right now. Stay posted to www.MASHAFIX.com for more details.
